Position Overview:
EZ Freight Inc. is looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our supply chain operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely delivery of products. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret complex data, and a deep understanding of supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain operations, including inventory levels, procurement processes, transportation costs, and lead times.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain and recommend improvements to enhance overall performance, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
- Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with sales and production teams to forecast demand accurately, ensuring that inventory levels align with customer needs and market trends.
- Supplier Performance: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and cost, and work with suppliers to address any issues or opportunities for improvement.
- Inventory Management: Analyze inventory data to optimize stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and prevent stockouts, ensuring a balanced supply of materials and products.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain detailed reports on supply chain performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trends, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including procurement, production, logistics, and sales, to ensure seamless coordination across the supply chain.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain, such as supplier disruptions or transportation delays, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Technology Utilization: Utilize supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems, demand planning tools) to enhance data accuracy and streamline processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management, and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in supply chain management software, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL), and ERP systems.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with various departments.
