Incoterms, or International Commercial Terms, are a set of 11 internationally recognized rules that define the responsibilities of buyers and sellers in international trade. The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) creates and revises the terms every 10 years. When included in a contract of sale, Incoterms create legal obligations for both parties.
